Q. What are the RNC-NIC, RNC-LRN, and CCRN exams?

They are exams offered by the National Certification Corporation (RNC-NIC exam) and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (CCRN exam) to provide a specialty certification in neonatal intensive care.

Question Review Book FAQ

Q. Which book should I purchase?

The high risk book is designed for nurses that work in a Level 3 or 4 NICU (RNC-NIC).

The low risk book is designed for nurses who work in a Level 2 SCN/NICU (RNC-LRN).

The extremely low birth weight exam is designed for nurses and other health care workers that take care of infants with a birth weight of <1,000 gm (C-ELBW).

The neonatal neuro intensive care exam is designed for nurses and other health care workers that care of infants in the NICU (C-NNIC).

The neonatal pediatric transport exam is designed for nurses and other health care workers that work with transport teams.

The NNP review is designed for students that will take the NNP board exam (NNP-BC).

Q. Where can I find your video review course?

I have two video review courses available. The first one is for the high risk neonatal exam (RNC-NIC) and is designed for Level 3/4 NICU RNs, available here. The second one is for the low risk neonatal exam (RNC-LRN) and is designed for Level 2 NICU/SCN RNs, available here.

Q. What do I get with the video review course?

Access to all of my video lectures based on the NCC’s candidate guide for the exam along with PDF files of the lectures, available for download. There are 21 videos in the high risk course and 22 videos in the low risk course.

For some courses I also have packages available that include quiz questions, a free copy of the book, and even a private 1-hour Q&A/study session with me to delve deeper into any topics or areas where you might want additional support. Email me for more information.

The course has a 7-day money back guarantee. If you don’t find the video course helpful during this timeframe, contact me and I will issue a refund.
